Under the high patronage of the Prime Minister, Head of Government, the Minister of Economy, Planning and Territorial Development, Alamine Ousmane Mey presented on November 16, 2020, the National Development Strategy 2020-2030, abbreviated SND30.

These deliberations, which take place a few weeks after the official presentation of the 2020-2030 National Development Strategy (NDS-30), have the overall objective of fostering a shared understanding, at the level of MINEPAT officials, of the guidelines of this new reference framework for government action for 2020-2030. Specifically, this involves ensuring that these officials take ownership of the reforms and objectives pursued by the NDS-30, in order to identify the challenges to be taken up by MINEPAT and guarantee the satisfactory implementation of this Strategy.

Launched officially in November 2020, the National Development Strategy 2020-2030 is the ten-year variant of the second phase of the Vision, which seeks to make Cameroon, “an emerging nation, democratic and united in its diversity” by 2035. Its purpose is to achieve the structural transformation of the economy of Cameroon and the inclusive development of the different social categories. This document formulates Cameroon’s national and international commitments at the economic, social and environmental levels.
